This poem is excellent social commentary about the cell phone culture of this decade. You describe their users vividly in all three stanzas. On the surface your description is amusing, but the reality is disturbing. Rod

Hi there,
Thank you for sharing your poetry for entry in the Cell Phone Phenomenon contest. The advent of cell phones has changed the landscape of communication, human relations, and life in general.
I laugh at myself as I carry my phone everywhere. I didn't do that with a phone that was attached to the wall!

Hi there,
Thank you for sharing your poetry for entry in the Cell Phone Phenomenon contest. The advent of cell phones has changed the landscape of communication, human relations, and life in general.
I laugh at myself as I carry my phone everywhere. I didn't do that with a phone that was attached to the wall!

Oh, yeah -- this one's got to be a winner -- it is just awesome!! And, not only did it have great rhyme scheme and flow, but it's so damn true!
