That is so awful about the cattle. We have had more rain than usual and the temperatures keep fluctuating. Your poem captures the feel of the drought and the loss of the cattle.

Hi Elaine, Thanks so much for reading. We are in more strife now with a cyclone off the whole east coast. Never rains but it pours. Love, Kay.

This is a very well written poem about the extreme heat in Australia. From one day to the next we do not know what the weather will bring here either. I just know in my deepest of heart that the Lord is in control and He will take care of me. I hope it gets cooler for you and the animals my friend. It is going to rain again here for the next few days with flash flooding again. love and blessings, Teri

Marvelous work with this informative poem. It seems Australia has had a terrible year and there doesn't seem to be any relief in the near future. I wish you all the best. I am surprised there isn't more about this on the news. I only hear about what is happening in Australia from you.

If it isn't one thing it is two suffering never stops it seems we are all at the mercy of the heat and floods and ramen. There seems to be no end to all this.

It seems form the wording of you poem that OZ-land is in the throes of weather and immigration problem much the same as we are here in America. In the last 10 years we have had terrible fires, major drought, flooding and earthquakes, and now our land is being threatened with caravans of refugees come from the nations south of us. Many of those in the caravans say they will come in even to the point of breaking our laws. We have a way they cab come in legally and yet they refuse to go through the right steps. Patricia

Hello Patricia, Yes, weather is crazy. We now have a cyclone off the whole of the east coast of Oz. I know your refugee problems are massive. Ours are small in comparison. All of these shifts were foretold in the Bible. Have a good day friend.

Yes I'm hearing you Aussie. It's a case of be careful what you wish for. We wanted rain in Townsville, but not as much as we got, but the poor farmers in the North West that have eased their animals through the drought only to loose them in the floods.
cheers

Hello fellow Aussie. Townsville was a disaster and it ain't over yet. Yes, the cattle industry is reeling from the losses. I know cyclones can be sneaky, hope it doesn't go back north. Blessings, Kay.
