Wow Yvette... That's one handy trick to have... make them drink the kool-aid without having any kool-aid! Can you send this guy to the Capital? He can stop at the House... and at Congress... and in the Oval! We'll be all set! All for One and One for All!!!

You so funny!! And I'm so glad you made it through this as well -- yeah, I'm pretty sure Demetrius doesn't do invitations...but if he decides to...yeah, I'll just leave it at that! ;) ;) Thanx again, ma'am, and take care! ;) :)

Great chapter. You know that I have no suggestions for revisions so I will just give you my impressions. I am guessing that Demetrius has the disappearing (invisibility) talent that we have seen earlier in the book. I am guessing that Demetrius was not involved in an earlier disappearing act since he does not know about Marguerite's abandonment by her dad. Demetrius clearly has other mesmerizing talents. He seems to be able to put people into trances. I would not mind one of those trances with the child like happiness. I wonder if there will be a romantic involvement between the good looking Demetrius and Marguerite. Maybe there will be more hopscotching on goosebumps.
Well those are my thoughts. Good luck with your writing. I'm all in.

This is me with a very sly grin on my face and a twinkle in my eye saying 'I'm so glad you're brain is working in those directions...' :) :) :) And, with that statement, I will gracefully thank for your review....she grins again! ;) :) Yvette

A very well-written part of chapter three. It is strange that a father just drop off his only child at an orphanage and never even visit or question about her for six years or more.

Intriguing and I know I'm missing something a whole lot of somethings actually...
Well I too like Koko's turn of phrase...
Note sometimes you said Charlie and another time it was Charlise
Well penned and I will keep reading.
God bless

You've wove into your story the importance of character creation, whether illusory or not, the individual importance of them, they all fascinate. The two that lay the foundation of your story are Demetrius and Koko, they will play a stronger role as it goes along. Well done Yvette, excellently done, blessings, Roy
