A very well-written poem about the way your life turned out. Some have it easy and bloom from the start and when they start to wither it is all the way down. The others who have trouble to get what they want always rise up again and again.

This is great Donna. How nice for you to have begun singing at recitals again. A late bloomer can be a wonderful thing, if one manages through the developmental stage.

Marie, this is a poem that could have been written about my own life. I too was a good student and won awards. Then as a teen it seemed things went off the track for me with the physical and emotional abuse I suffer from my parents. Since my vision is poor, the white font on the green was hard for me to read. If the background was a bit darker green it would have been easier to read. Patricia

Oh I am so proud of you....late blooms are the most beautiful. They shine when the early blooms have waned.
