This shows those members of royalty that are fair and just. I like that each stanza is a cinquain. You also remind us of the castles we so wish to visit. You forgot to mention crimson as a royal color.

Keep writing

The idea of making a paper crown out of a poem is really intriguing. As intriguing as the deckof cards becoming a bible and prayer book all rolled into one as in Wink Martindale's talking blues, the Deck of Cards. Do you remember that one about the soldier who was reported to his officer for playing cards in church. Talk about a glib excuse - that lad had them in spades. Lol.

A very well-written Crown Cinquain inspired by the king and queen of the playing cards. It seems also to be true in real life. There is one who rules over the subjects who have to pay taxes to be ruled as the king wishes.

This work has reached the exceptional level

You have some subtle near rhyme in this. There's just an echo of it in the first lines Royal/Castles/To all, which helps to unify the crown.

Nice internal rhyme of 'border' with 'order', and I liked the consonance in this:
"purple bedecked,
holds his people's respect,"

The plosive alliteration of 'p's in this cinquain helps to support the idea of power:
"power places,
palaces display wealth,
provide protected living spaces"
It's always good to see alliteration used for a specific purpose

I must go back and have a look at some of your other cinquain variations. They sound interesting.

I enjoyed your spinning more cinquains--this time a Crown Cinquain with its jagged points and circular links with the repeats. Thanks for taking a photograph especially for this poem. The ensemble made me think of the subplot of "Hamlet"! Cheers- Joan

It does indeed form a crown when view sideways! How clever. I like the way you linked the stanzas together. Good rhyming, too. You never run out of new ways to write poetry. 8-)

Thank you for the creative new cinquain writing concept I believe, I have not seen it used this way as noted in your notes.
This is excellent conceptually and structurally. Thank you for sharing this poem.

Excellent crown cinquain that is written literally about the Crown! Your author's note is a guide to writing cinquains and I plan to bookcase it. Thanks so much for sharing and teaching at the same time.
