Excellent post.
that was a good description at the beginning showing Tommy's emotions. Your title fits the post. Things just went from bad to worse.

Very concise writing and filled with pathos. You have made it possible for the reader to have empathy for characters who are not above board, and of course for the innocent wife who life hangs in the balance. How could any of us not understand how real the feelings are here. I will be waiting for the next chapter in this fine mystery.

Wow...doesn't sound good for Jen! What are they going to do...what are they going to do? lol (from Scooby Doo) I recognize it...I even used it in one of my stories once. lol Well, James starts his job on Monday. We are excited. He has weird hours right now. Not sure how we are going to both go to work with only one car between the two of us. After all I went through to get to go back to Subbing, he tells me today that I don't have to go to work. lol Grrr Men! Happy Writing! katy

Thank you so much for your kind review. Jen is living on borrowed time that's for sure.
Just a few more days and you can have the house to yourself again. Hopefully you can hang on to your sanity until then lol.
Isn't that just like men you go and make plans and they spoil it, lol. My hubby does that to me all the time. or last minute he'll say, lets go do something, then gets mad when I take to long to get ready. Men don't understand it takes a min to put on our face, lol.
Thank you again for such a kind review, all your help support and friendship is always appreciated, take care.

This episode isva real saddy I think. But the police have made a fingerprint connection as far as Tommy is concerned, and it's out of the frying pan and into the fire. Poor Jen is give some bad news that the operation needs to be speeded up, otherwise Jen might die, it seems her chances of survival have nosedived. Well done, an excellent episode, blessings, Roy

Thank you so much for your kind review, I'm glad you enjoyed it. It is sad, knowing her time is running out. Hopefully they'll find a donor soon and Tommy can come up with the money.

Thank you so much for reading my chapter. I'm happy to hear you are rooting for my protagonist to succeed despite your views on crime.
Thank you again for all your help and support, take care.

I can't blame Tommy for breaking the law. Who wouldn't do whatever they had to in order to get the money for Jen's surgery? Jen's life is more important than the law, to Tommy, at least. I hope he can make it work.

Thank you so much for your great review, I'm glad you enjoyed it. It would be a shame if he lost her after all that he went through to save her life. You're right, he would go crazy if she dies.

I think you have the makings of a very good story. I think I started reading in the very beginning and got sidetracked. As the story progresses, it becomes very real, and the language used by the cops is just about perfect. Poor Jen! She goes from elated one minute to heartbreak the next.
There were a few mechanical errors, but besides that, Nice job!

Thank you for reading my chapter. I believe you did read a few chapters in the beginning. Tommy's had a heck of time since you left. He's had a run in with the law twice, almost caught in the middle of a robbery, attacked by vicious dogs, discovered three dead bodies, and he had a run in with some very large goons. He's now working for a drug lord hoping to make some fast cash.
Thank you again for your wonderful review, I will look for the errors, thanks for the heads up, take care.

Oh my goodness Mistydawn
what a surprise for Jen and Tommy to find out there is a desperate need for surgery; now has me very nerves how Tommy comes up the money for Jen's
surgery soon enough.

Thank you for your kind review, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I was trying to up the ante, make Tommy and Jen seem real, relatable. People were getting ify on Tommy and I really didn't introduce Jen.
Thank you again for your great review all your help and support, take care.

Looks like Tommy didn't get falsely accused of a crime. He almost did and probably end up in jail. This is a very good story. I have enjoyed reading this piece. Good write. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you for your great review, I'm glad you enjoyed it. Yeah, Tommy almost ended up in jail for murder when all he really did was rob the house. The owners were already dead when he arrived.
