I like your little rhymed poem. It makes me feel good. Even your color choices make me feel good. Life is simple--wine, candy, roses. Cupid won't miss. There will be hot romance. This is the way that life should be.

This is a great Valentine poem, bucketlist. I like the color scheme, the rhymes, and your message. This style of meter, anapest, is difficult for me. So I will not comment on that aspect. But it sounded great read aloud. Thanks for sharing. Jan

There?s always hope, it?s called dreaming! Bill, I think women have to realize that romance has to coached unless it?s modeled in childhood. We learn a great deal then , just by observation. Thank you so much for your good luck review

There must be so many hopes raised, and probably a lot dashed, on Valentines Day. Your poem covers all the bases - flowers, candy, wine, sweet words, soft music. What more could a girl ask for? I can't suggest any improvements.

Yeah yeah I know but my husband has never got this message...the only time we came near celebrating St Valentines...not that I got chocolate or flowers is seven years ago on Feb 14 our friend Daryl had a triple by pass...when I asked if there was any valentines he said he'd taken me to a heart surgery what more did I want. I love this man....

This is a wonderful response for the Potlatch Poetry prompt. I would mention that in the second stanza, second line.. there is a misspelled word. I enjoyed reading this poem of affection. Good write.
