I liked the second one best. . .that first one is a real downer. So thank you for the second poem. Not exactly sure how that all works but I do wish you well with either.

The contest is a challenge to revise a classic poem and give it a different twist-- I guess I did :)

Very nicely done and a great contest entry. That is one super scary image you've chosen to complement your work! It really works well to convey a sense of fear.

My favorite lines are in the last stanza, the 1st and 4th.
