The wind, with nostrils flared, kicks off its trace,
and weaker leaves are wrenched from flailing trees
They whirl around, with flurries giving chase,
As towering clouds lift up the whitecap seas.....beautiful whether your rhymes slant or supplant...my favorite word is sussurate
God bless

Hi, Tony,

A treat to get a poem from you. I was expecting another chapter in the book.

I never heard of Mamaragan - I'm not Australian, but he sounds very interesting and a great way to explain thunder and lightning. I think every civilization has its own form of mythology to make sense of the world.

Thank you for sharing,

~patty~

Thanks, Patty. I'm struggling a bit with the next chapter. It may take another day or two. Tony
