I like that. It's not only neat, but fun to look at with like colors together.
I don't think it's overblown or overdone...and anyway, what's wrong with compulsive? and neatness is good.

you have just given me an idea. hadn't thought of the shoe rack. I usually put shoes for the present season on the top rows for convenience. hadn't thought of color coordinating them. ha! might give that a try. thanks

Yes, I've read the other offerings, and they took it literally. My colorful tights and I are always out of step. lol

I see what you did there, Mark D. R. : "TIGHT-ly woven verse"? Lol.
I'm not sure if the parentheticals are a good idea or not, either. I used them to make it seem like I'm kind of light-heartedly mocking myself.
