So, so beautifully sad. You express your sorrows and grief so well, I could feel the pain. Thank you so much for your author notes. I did not want to ask what happened to your sweet innocent son because it was not my place to ask. But now that I know, I have much better understanding of the horrible grief you have and are going through.
Does writing help you? It does me. I think it is such good therapy. Expressing our pain is better than letting it stay bottled up inside.

Wow! I don't know quite what to say because while I know how tragic losing your son was/is and I can completely understand your lines, "if I was with you..." Our son is a recovering heroin addict, and for many years, we had no hope. We planned his funeral, cried every day over what we'd do if we had another day with him, and prayed, prayed, and prayed. We gave him to God....
Last week, one of my dear friends, whose son is also an addict who had a heart transplant years ago, lost her son. His heart was failing and he was septic. The transplant team stood outside his room waiting for him to pass...and he did. It was so horribly tragic...
Anyway, beautiful write.

Jason's Heart Still Beats and his little sister Dana?
Well, Jason told her to ride not with him...
(Which caused Jason's ultimate sacrifice)
But to ride with her Sister Kyle. Dana was so upset she also turned to Heroin a 40to 50bag a day habit.
Today she is clear and clean with a little ten year old son...
