Hi, Yvette,

Thank you for sharing another chapter in this intriguing story. It continues to interest me and draw me in more and more. (Good job!)

I especially loved this sentence, 'Their handling of him in such a possessive manner never failed to turn his crank.'

Looking forward to the next part,

~MP~

A very well-written chapter. It is always amazing to see how many people arrive at a funeral. Some people we did not see in years suddenly appear and not always with good intentions.

I like the way you write so easily, and that your characters, stand out in thoight, deed and description. I don't think these social scenes are particularly easy to describe, but both the characters and imagery of movement work well together. And the characters are so interesting and yet all unique and eclectic, well done, blessings Yvette, Roy

I like Geoffrey. He has a great attitude. I do hope Stephen has had some luck in finding Maggie. The Refuge needs her. This is a really good story. It captures the reader's interest. The characters are all well developed.

You have to publish on Sundays for my sixes, Yvette.Probably lots of other reviewers are out as well. This is certainly deserving. I have read it several times trying to find a weakness, and I just can't. Reading several times was helpful with the understanding. I was getting a little confused with the three way marriage, but it is perfectly explained in the story. Geoffrey certainly seems to have a sexual weakness the way that he is attracted to Gary, Charlie, Demetrius, and Amelia. But, if Gary and Charlie trust him, so will I.
This format is reminding me of Arthur Hailey's Airport and Hotel. Every chapter is devoted to a totally different setting and character. This chapter is mostly Geoffrey, but we may not get back to him for a few more chapters. I always loved that format. It makes the plot more intricate.
Glad you got something posted today. It gave me something to look forward to.

Hey, MQ -- hope the day's going well down there! ;) Thanx for you wonderful comments...they are very uplifting to read! Although, you oughta check back on the Amelia thing with Geoffrey... he was actually making fun of her 'disapproving' of his marriage and PDA's :) ;) ;) Glad you're not ready to bail ... perhaps I do have an off-putting style when I write a 'big' thing...??? I don't know, but at least you seem to be following it alright. :) ;) Thank you for your encouragement and you enjoy the rest of your weekend! ;) ;) Yvette :)

I certainly did not say that your style was off-putting. I love your style. I never know what to expect in each chapter. I could not be more pleased. As to Amelia, I know that Geoffrey was using his winks and sexuality to make her uncomfortable. I think that he is trustworthy. He still uses his sexuality to communicate. I just clarify matters so you know that we are getting it. You are doing a fabulous job with this book.

Very earthy and realistic. Strong language useful for the situation. You weave a fine tale for us here. I love the artwork, that house is gorgeous. You keep the story straight, so that we can follow the characters and follow along. Very good writing!
