Darren, I really enjoyed your fresh approach to poetry style. I thought the image was perfect and I liked your nature images.
The only pice that seemed a little disjointed was the last verse. But that was just my opinion.,

So much for your review and comments, the last one was supposed to be about the Sixth Sense ESP and then decided to do a prophecy dream it was an attempt thanks again I really appreciate your comments.

A lively, colorful illustration of many things we can experience through our senses if we only take the time from our daily pursuits, like "Stop and Smell the Roses!"
Actually, during the summer months here we try to get down to the reservoir and catch a few rainbows. They are delicious fresh out of the cold water! The hills are covered with wildflowers in Spring, a joy to the soul after the long, dreary winter with months of freezing temperatures and gray skies.

Your sensory descriptions bring the reader right along with you to also experience the coolness of the river flowing through their sockless toes. What fun. This draws the reader in who can identify or those who can vicariously enjoy the experience the joy. It all makes me joyful and grateful that I am able to do this every year. The reader is invited to reflect on what they are grateful for.

Now this was a really cool read, Badger 29. I really loved the "feel" of this one and you seem to be a master at the haiku. Good job and I look forward to reading more from you.

Thanks 24, it's always a pleasure to meet and associate with new people here. I have written extensively published a book, and I utilize the Haiku because it forces me to focus a lot of thoughts into a small area.
Again, a pleasure to become acquainted with you here .
Blessings,
Brother Badger

I found myself going back reading go figure out which sense each stanza represented. This shows how my curiosity was piqued. I enjoyed the descriptive word choices that helped me get a better mental picture.

Thanks again once I appreciate your comments. In my defense, this is kind of a new experiment for me. I've already written a great deal of other poems and published the book so if you're interested in my other writing,
please look in my portfolio.
there are some very different poems beside the Haiku form
