I returned to offer my six for this outstanding piece. My favorite line: "echoing hearts share oneness, never far." This reminds me of my husband, Jackson. Your poetry is just as beautiful as you are; a delight to read and take in.
All my best,

Tremendously moving and emotional, Susan.
You've truly captured the spirit of the contest with this heart-gripping Sonnet, and that ethereal whisper of a picture sets the virtually perfect moment.
Whatever you may decide is the best option, you're most definitely touched my heart. Your Sonnet should do very well in the contest ... the best of luck to You.
Thank you ever-so warmly, Susan ~ Richard : )

Hi,
Ah, a lovely sonnet you've penned (or typed - lol) here. A great contest entry.
I cannot discern anything amiss here to suggest improving upon.
The image you've selected works very well to help convey the meaning of your eloquent verse.
Thank you for sharing and best of luck in the voting booths! :-)

Wow - well, I don't know about anyone else, but this is the perfect entry here -- it not only echos the author's emotions of longing but it brings to the reader a sense of completeness with the night. A beautiful offering -- best of luck at the polls! ;) ;)

Lovely, lovely, lovely. No one else pours as much raw emotion into love poems as you do. Any man reading this would want to be the "you" addressed as the one so loved and longed for. This English Sonnet is definitely worthy of publication, as it compares well to the best love poems I ever have seen. Superb, and beautifully illustrated in perfect match to the theme. Gorgeous. I love it all.

You are most welcome, Susan. I know splendid work when I see it. You truly are a master at conveying emotion through words in a well-chosen form befitting the theme, and masterful too in finding beautiful images which match the themes of your poems so well. -- Mike

-Very nice image and presentation.
-A good poem with effective
rhyme and imagery:
"Silk breezes grant repose 'long verdant glen."
-I also like the first line introducing Luna.
-The first verse sets up a peaceful mood.
-You share thoughts about love in the
next stanzas, and show a longing to
be where he is.
-The couplet is also very good.
-Good luck in the contest.

Your well-written, moving sonnet effectively conveys the emotion of
longing for that special absent one--the sense of urgency that is an element
of longing.
