This is a really cool and fun, imaginative poem and though I enjoyed it immensely, I'm afraid it doesn't meet the requirements of this contest. You were supposed to create a poem where every WORD starts with the same letter, not just every LINE. Sorry. Please do some editing before the contest begins. Good luck!

Yes, thank so much for calling this to my attention. I did edit and am very appreciative of this review. It lost some of its power but right now it is the best I can come up with, Thank you for reading and the useful input.

Gargoyles at heaven's gate - why not, I pass them on the street on the way to church, ranting and raving. Stunning artwork...very vivid and matches your stark poem perfectly. Then comes the sweetest part, how our God reaches out and pulls us in to His mercy and grace. Very nice work.

I had to go back and edit to meet the contest requirements. It lost some of its power but it is the best I can come up with right now. Thanks for reading and your great review.
