This tree-hugger 5-7-5, Can't Get My Root in the Door, has the right set up and finds the freeing truth that sometimes careers make it plain we need to bough out.

Uh... hey there, Anonymous Poet.
You look a little board in your photo shoot.
Perhaps you should simply leave -- go somewhere else. I've always been told that it's a good idea to branch out.
Heh-heh-heh...
Best wishes to you in the 5-7-5 contest.
Great entry!

Wow, thank you so much, T. I'm getting ready for bed now so I can get up for work later but I'll be sure to watch it soon. A true story, huh?

It is yeah. Not sure this version has the English translation, but if you enjoy great films... make this a part of your list :)

Great haiku. Very nice and refreshing to see a humorous haiku. The only change I would make would be to change "said" to "read". They sound similar and mean practically the same, but read would give the last line a bit of alliteration. Also, it would make sense in that resumes don't speak.

That is a good unique use of humor for this contest. I can easily see why your acting career flopped. You certainly made that abundantly clear. Good luck in the contest.
