Ulla, this is wonderful. I'm sure it will be a comfort. Blessings, my friend. Mikey was indeed an inspiration to so many FanStory members. His energy was amazing. He seemed to be everywhere.

This was a very nice eulogy for Michael Cahill, who was a popular and important member of the Fanstory site. His humor and helpful assistance are consistent elements in each admirer's recollection.

So true Ulla. Mike will be missed by so many among us. This is a beautiful tribute to his memorial and yes his quirky and outright hilarious sense of humour will be very missed.

I am just hearing about his death. I haven't been on the site for a while as I haven't felt well. I am very sorry to hear about his passing. Do you know how he died? I've seen some that say it was very sad, so was it an accident or illness? It's none of my business of course, but was just wondering.

    Hi Roxanne, first of all. Are you better? I've been missing your writing. My understanding is that it was a heart attack that saw him in ECU and that he passed away a few days later. That's my impression mind you. Hope to hear from you soon. Ulla xx

This is a lovely tribute to a lovely and talented friend. I just learned of his passing but will never forget how inspirational this gifted man was. He was loved and will be missed dearly. He was never afraid to try new styles of writing and did a great job with everything he posted. He gave me the greatest compliment once and even reminded me of it a few times when I was feeling down. He was loved and, as I said, will be dearly missed.

A nice tribute to another leaving the site. Too many seem to be leaving. Some are coming. Well, I guess change is a part of life, but it can be unsettling and sad. estory

Ills this is a wonderful tribute. I am increasingly saddened as wonderful voices have left us on this site. The closeness from words written is the best thing about fanstory. Thank you for your tribute. It is lovely. He will be missed

You were never shy of giving a helping hand. You were indeed a breath of fresh air. - reading this makes me so wish I knew Michael Cahill myself. Unfortunately this is only my second year here and I never got to learn much about him or become fans.

But I join hands...

It is so sad when somebody we know dies. I find it more and more difficult to understand the older I get...
