What a great title, "Wee Monkey." It's so great to see your art and words. I hope you are feeling better. Your art is precious. I bet your four year old little friend will love that frolicking/grinning monkey. :)

Well, hello again, Pam. I have missed you. Your art work and encouragement set me on a path of new discovery that I am so grateful for. I'm enjoying painting, immensely. I thought I saw you post a monkey before? Or was it an older one? Anyway, good job on this one and the poem too. :) Bob

Hi Bob. No, I have not painted a monkey before. I painted a baby panda. It was planned that I would post sparingly this year. I can?t afford the time to do regular reviewing or pay to promote. I never received the image of the house or any other ones. It is never too late to teach an old dog new tricks. I now have two terminal diseases racing to see which one will kill me first. -:(. Thank you for the lovely review. Have you painted any people yet. People are difficult unless you paint their backside.

Hi, Pam, I am so sorry to hear avout your two illnesses. My goodness. How do you manage from day to day? I do hope you have family to fall back on, my friend. Yes, as a matter of fact I have tried doing people. A tutorial by Frank Clarke showed me how by drawing a carrot. did you ever hear of such a thing?

No, Bob. I am self taught

Oh, I have missed you Pam. I am so glad you are feeling like posting something here on FS. I really like your cute monkey and think your accompanying verse fits it well. Sorry you have been sick, and I hope you feel back to normal soon.

Thank you Melissa for such a lovely review. I miss you too. Just can?t afford the time to review. Some days I reviewed for 18 hours to get 1-2 modestly promoted posts.

What an adorable little guy! Your young friend must love this painting! And you painted it despite not feeling well. Thank you for sharing the artwork as well as the poetic words. Nice color scheme, too.

I am so sorry to hear you have been ill and send my prayers that you will be better. This is the cutest monkey and would delight any child. The sweet little verse brought a smile to my face. Your art is delightful and God must shine His special light on you!

Thank you Mark for your wonderful review. By the way for your snowflake poem, you used my igloo painting. See, you already wrote one for my painting

Nice igloo painting for sure!

Sorry to hear you have been sick. I am cured - of the tankitis that is. I was actually pleased to see this one. A month of not writing tanka already. I can hardly believe it.
This one was fun.

-Sorry to hear you have been
sick, Pam. I thought it
was odd I wasn't seeing your work.
-Thanks for sharing your painting.
-The imagery is effective in your poem,
and the pivot line is good.
-You capture the playful
spirit of the young monkey well.
-Thanks for sharing and
hope you are better.

Thank you Pam for your lovely review. And for your concern. I have COPD which is a terminal lung disease. I had an exacerbation. Gasping for breath and coughing up bunches of gunk are not my idea of fun. Three trips to the ER and one to urgent care. Sick for two months. Exhausting. But I finally recovered about a week ago. It started Dec 29. So, it lasted almost six weeks. Oy ve. Thanks again. Take care

You are very welcome, Pam, and I am glad to know you are doing better. Sorry you had a difficult time. Take care and be well.

Hi, Pam,
So sorry to hear you were ill. But, I love that you shared not only your poetry but your artwork with us as well. This little monkey looks quite amused, and why not? He gets to frolic in the trees and have fun,
A wonderful poem,
