This is a very good edition to the book. I like that you put that Veronica was not solid and Mildred was. I have a question on one sentence -- Hospital were built, isn't it was built? Now Veronica is in a pickle. I agree the two together are invisible. Veronica is going to have to tell Mildred about the dressmakers. Then Mildred can continue to get the people out of the hospital.

Yes, you are quite right, it should be, 'was built' but I'm afraid Mildred just will not listen to me and she won't change her dialect for me or anyone!! What can I do? LOL, sorry, my friend. Poor Veronica. Why do the PTB expect her to figure out everything, when they could just tell her what to do. For that matter, why do they have to interfere with her life at all? Can't THEY take care any timeline problems? Isn't that their job? I'm really getting angry with them now.
I like the physical design of the tunnels I see in my mind. Spooooky and fun. :)

Yes, Veronica could do that, but Mildred can't get through the metal door! The powers are making Veronica so angry, I think they'd be safer out of her way. I'm glad you like the tunnels. There are thousands of miles of these tunnels, zig-zagging underneath London's roads and buildings, that were started in the early 1800s. I expect American towns are the same. I'm so sorry, Nancy, I know what you mean though. My mum lived on oxygen the way you are for the last years of her life.I can imagine how terrifying it is. Right, back to the review. The powers are really making Veronica angry at the moment, I'm sure if she was to meet them, she'd give them a piece of her mind. Hmm, now that would be a good chapter!!! You manage to pump up the tension so well, Sandra! Now everyone will be chewing their nails and wondering if Veronica can find a way to communicate with someone to save everyone being smoked to death in the passageway. Bravo, my friend - I can't wait for the next chapter!
