I worked with Michael on quite a few projects over the years and he was always so upbeat, inclusive and a genuinely sincere friend and man. This is terrific Yvonne, and of course I will be contributing to your book too. :)

I wish I had known him. God will hold him in the hollow of His hand and mercy will shine on him. Those who do good - reap the golden wheat. I find it wonderful that you have written this for him and have told those of us who did not know him of his grace. I will pray for his dear soul.

What has happened to Michael? Everyone one is writing eulogies and speaking of him in the past tense. Is he okay? I get the feeling that he died. If so, I'm sorry to hear it.

He passed away Friday. He hadn't been onsite since January 13. Finally tracked him down in a Lancaster, California, hospital. He was in ICU and on a ventilator. His wife had said he'd be there several months for therapy. Next thing we know, he died. I'm heartsick. He was a good friend to all of us.

Good idea. Thanks for starting this. Mikey is one of the members I knew from soon after I joined FS, and I had enormous respect for his ability as well as his kindness. He seemed like the real thing, not just a guy playing at being a hippie. I'll have to write a short piece about him. :)

I'm glad you will. He was one of my first friends here. He was also so kind and gracious to me, and even took up for me when I needed it.
