Some well known personalities included in this list. Agree with most of the movies you listed. I would rank The Shining much higher though. "Here's Johnny!" Nice to include your parents as some you'd like to have dinner with.

Thank you so much Earl. It was nice to see my selection added to your fine list. We both admire Robert Duval and Sandra Bullock, I see. This is a lot of fun to read and just mull over. Thanks for making everything such good fun.
All my best,
Sal :+)

Thanks Sally, by the way my mom's name was Sally too. I'm glad you're enjoying the book of lists. One of my reviewers said I should nip it in the bud because I'm distracting everybody from serious wtriting. But as long as people keep sending me submissions I'll keep it up. I appreciate you reading and reviewing my work.

Your mother?s name was Sally? It is an old fashioned name. I rarely meet anyone with that name anymore. I was made famous in. The Cat in the Hat. ?I sat there with Sally, I sat there we two, amd how we wished we had something to do...

Thank you very much for thre six star rating, it's the first one I've received. I appreciate your list, but feel free to devise your own categories and add them or send them to me and I'll add the and credit you.

This listing of favorites has got some good stuff in it. Cheech and Chong were classics in the early seventies. "No stems or seeds that you don't need; Acapulco Gold is pheeefffffffffff bad ass weed."

Your lists are like a walk down memory lane. I think it would be helpful if you really want readers to add to your lists, to post just a list of the categories you've already done (without your choices). Then maybe readers can add new categories to the lists you've already created. I don't want to duplicate anything, so that's just a suggestion. But it's always fun to read a new set of lists from you.

How about favorite songs to slow dance to (I'm showing my age here, does anybody even slow dance anymore???):
When a Man Loves a Woman-Percy Sledge
I Can't Make You Love Me-Bonnie Raitt
Stand By Me-Mickey Gilley (that scene in Urban Cowboy with John Travolta and
Debra Winger dancing to this...the steam came right through the
screen)
The Thrill is Gone-B B King
At Last-Etta James
I Love How You Love Me-The Paris Sisters
Me and Mrs. Jones-The Dramatics
The list goes on and on....

I like the variety of your lists, Earl. I don't think I can post my own as I have other things I'm trying to post and research. But thanks for sharing. I like your comedy pairs, your musicals and your ideal dinner guests. But you'd never get me to watch scary movies!

Interesting lists, Earl I have a problem with this post because it wears out after a while. The first or second time around is okay, but after all, we are here to write and learn about writing. Playing games once in a while is fine, but I tend to think we have overdone it now. Sorry. just being honest, my friend. Bob
