If they need killing machines why not use robots. It seems that is all this poor guy is anyway. He has no control at all. I guess all those soldier he just slaughtered are collateral damage. I hope your story has it worked out so he will be able to kill Conner. Now you have me rooting for someone to die.

Another great instalment. Great sounding and authentic, intriguing dialogue and the usual exciting dramatic action. I continue to enjoy this immensely. Thanks.

Wow, Bill, I never read this but I'm sure glad I now have. What a great chapter that is. Full of action, I dare say, but also giving us some background.story. great stuff. Ulla:)))

Weirder and weirder. just when I get a clear bead on it, you shift it again. but, I still somehow keep up.
You write like a demon. And I will keep reading. Isn't it time to meet Abracadaver the magician?

I do not know him. Oh wait, he is over there in a pile of bodies.

Maybe he wasn't that good a magician, he could only make part of himself disappear?:-)

First, Happy Veteran's Day tomorrow! Pretty intense, Bill, and thanks for your service!
A very intense chapter, Bill, but I guess most of these are. It started with talking, and ended with a great deal of action! So, the music set off Bobby, either with hypnotism or a brain implant.
Take care,
Rhonda

This outstanding piece of writing has so much going for it along with the realism you have imbued within it and the top notch dialogue, my infinitesimal small brain doesn't know where to begin, so let me just say you have a real winner here and someday I'll make the effort to read each installment in order.

When you write these things, I know it comes from experience mingled with creativity.

Goodness me, I feel so sorry for Baker, fancy finding out about himself and his father that way. Conner has a lot to answer for, and I'm hoping he will, and soon. What about Baker's mother? He must have had one.
I'm back to it again. Off to read the next part. :)) Sandra xx

This should be fun. How do you neutralize dogs without revealing your exact location? Can you get away in time to be ready for those following the dogs? You'd better be better than good, quicker than quick, and just about the best shot ever. Oh, and plug your ears so that you do not hear the verbal command that would shut you down. Surprize, surprise.

Ok, now a lot of the last few chapters make more sense. I can see how these people are connected, and that makes the story, for me, a whole lot better. I am, as always, looking forward to the next installment!

Another great additon, but, wow! Family ties as well ... certainly did not see that coming (should I have - sorry, if so!!). And now dogs?!! Oh, my goodness! Kinda hate when they bring the animals in as animals have no free will and will obey masters...people on the other hand, even assassins....hmm. :) ;) Thanx for sharing, Sir Bill! :) Yvette
