Mr. Clockwise,
This poem is extraordinary! I felt the emotional upheaval included with the words here. I find that the whole pace and meter is superb! The story is heart-wrenching and also true I am sure to some respect. Cleo's artwork is very accommodating to your story. Having close family that has roots in the Cherokee Indian heritage, this was fascinating to read as well as mentally process as I am a paleface. Cheers, Fonda

The rhyme scheme is a big part of this poem. The picture is adequate. The poet tells the tale well. It appears to be a tale of laxity as much as betrayal. Good job.

Yes, we are so incredible disrespectful to the people who are native to the land, and yet we see ourselves being genteel, sophisticated and civilized. The Nazis killed six million people during their reign. Our United States over several hundred years, killed twenty million people native to this land. Your poem is important because we have not yet made amends, and I doubt we ever will. I wish you well. Clockwise.

A poignant cry for recognition and justice. The words are strong and unforgiving, the message straightforward. A write not to be taken lightly

I cherish Native American history - Geronimo being my favorite warrior of all time - you did well with your poem honoring the great spirit of all Indians - I commend you for your poem on this subject - respectfully Ron

This is absolutely stunning and very well-written. It certainly shares a compelling and powerful commentary about Native Americans...the first and true American. :)

Reading this one can hear the syncopated rhythms of shamanic drums beating steadily in the back ground. The pounding rhythm runs right thouggh the piece. Cleverly formed.

Brilliant poetry, Clockwise. (your name please) I like the way your entire piece flows. I can almost head a drumbeat behind it all. Good job, my friend. I need to see more.

This is excellent. You capture both the superficial underpinnings of society and the desire for a deeper meaning. I haven't seen your writing before, but I will look for it now.

A very powerful, excellent rhyming piece with a compelling thought. The history of native American displacement is a shameful chapter in our history and your feelings and regret come through in this thought provoking poem. Thanks for sharing.
