HAHAHAHA.
I'm not sure if I feel more empathy for Jock or Jill. They've both kind of struck out here. But it's very clever, and I did enjoy reading it. Good luck in the contest.

You met the challenge well by taking the vowel "a" out of the story. I enjoyed your rhymes and your retaining the broken "crown". Best wishes in the contest- Joan

From the heading I was expecting a scene of debauchery!
How brave of you to try your first lipogram without using "a", one of the English language's most commonly used letters. You have done this so well to keep the gist of the story and add a slightly kinky new twist (or is that just me? he he.)

LOL this reminded me of a few acquaintances I knew when I was twenty years younger. Nice twist on an old tale that was transformed into a more twistedly appealing state! The use of "Jock" was in tune with what I recall. HAHAHAHA

A very well-written lipogram about Jock and Jill and the story where they go up the hill and he seems to break his crown and they both come tumbling down the hill,.

I don't see a lot of As Qs Xs and Zs, but I assume A is the no-show star...then there is the witchy woman with defective soul, and the inquisitor whose exorcism seems to have blown up in his face...deep poem indeed....

Well, thanks indeed for a fine introduction to this lipogram style of writing so totally uncommon to me. I therefore really cannot judge the perfection of this work but only say thanks for the introduction and appreciation for the delight ! HIS GRAYNESS; Vance

Hello, my friend. The way I always heard it was "Jack and Jill went up the hill
Each with a buck and a quarter
Jill came down with two and a half
They didn't go up for water"
I enjoyed your version better though, Kahpot. Blessings, Bob

Kahpot, you have done quite well with the lipogram contest entry. I find it a rather hard thing to write something of any length without using a given letter.
Good luck in the contest. Patricia

Well K, this is a fantastic Lipogram and you've picked one of the hardest letters to omit too in my opinion, but what a fantastic job you have done with poor old jock. lol
Wishing you much luck in the booth. :)
