A sweet love poem. Beautiful ideas of lonliness fulfilled. The language is both understandable and poetic, a difficult feat. The one thing that may improve the presentation of the poem is a space before and a space after each hyphen. Otherwise it looks like a compound word. Altogether, a touching poem.

If I had a 6 to give for this I would. I adored your repeating line and I loved all the sentiment that you offered in this contest entry. I think this is very strong! I think that you have expressed yourself for hopefully a real person in your life. I kind of want to show it to somebody I love for Valentines Day - it is a perfect sentiment. Maybe it will be the winner and then I will bookcase it! Good luck!

When two hearts become one you have found your soul mate - your quest complete - your very reason for existence - look at eagles for example - life mates forever - nature gives us so much to learn by - yet we seem to ignore her - your poem reflects truth of how we should become one with the one we choose to spend eternity with - thanks for sharing your poem - respectfully Ron

Aw, this is so sweet and romantic. I love any poem that speaks of a lifetime of love. I have loved my husband forty seven years, forty three as his wife. It is the most wonderful kind of love in my opinion. My best to you and yours, and in the contest.
