How does one review a list? My favorite actors and actresses would be different. That isn't saying there is anything wrong with the choices this writer has made. It merely shows differences of opinion. It is a strong list. The picture is a lovely piece of fantasy. Good job.

Exactly, Jaye. How does one review a list? There's nothing to review really. Thanks a lot for the support. Ulla:)))

-I like the colorful image, Ulla.
-You have some really good
actors and actresses in your list.
-"Dead Poet's Society" was a classic.
-Meryl Streep is the best in my opinion.
-A classic film with Meg Ryan.
-Judi Dench ranks right up there, too.
-Thanks for sharing.

Thanks so much, Pam, for taking the the time to review this. Like you, I've always liked Meryl Streep. She's a fantastic actress. All the best. Ulla:)))

You are very welcome, Ulla. Meryl Streep is in class by herself, I think!

Couldn't agree more!!

"For what it's worth" you have written at the top sounds a bit dismissive... I love this concept and look forward to reading more about FS authors through these personal lists.
The films are oldies but goodies. When I saw The Deer Hunter it was my first encounter with Robert De Niro... such an excellent actor, and such a disturbing film about the Vietnam War. My brother had been called up through compulsory conscription in Australia (he didn't go because the war ended) and we saw what could have happened to him in that film.

Hi Lisa. Oh.it was certainly not meant in a dismissive way. Wow, your brother was lucky indeed. I'm so glad that history prevented him for having to go to Vietnam. Yeah, I've never forgotten that film. It's disturbing as you say, and so realistic. All best. Ulla:)))

Well done my friend, I think I agree with about the actors, the films, with a few more additions, old black and white films, the old actors, the old epics of the fifties, well done Ulla, some happy entertainment moments there, well done, blessings, Roy

Ulla,
A fun set of lists! I love a lot of these same classic actors and actresses. It's funny that you don't mention too many of the newer generation of stars -- me, either. *smile*
Love When Harry Met Sally! Thanks!

Hi Robyn, I'm glad you agreed with me. To be honest, in latter years I haven't really had the time nor the inclination to follow the trend. I walk with my dog and work the land. Ye,s I still do that although we're divorced, and I'll get the crop. And then I read and write. When Harry met Sally was a wonderful film. Warm regards. Ulla:)))

Hi Sandy, thank you so much. Now you're mentioning I think I have seen Sweet Charity, but it's so many years ago that I've all but forgotten it. I'm glad you liked my list. All best. Ulla:)))
Comment from estory
Tom Hanks is the greatest actor of our time, I think. He was great in Forrest Gump, and Apollo 13 too. Can't leave out Dustin Hoffman, and his performance in Rain Man. Loved Dead Poets Society. But they don't really make movies like they used to. I haven't been to the movies in years. I love James Bond, especially the old movies with Sean Connery; Goldfinger was probably the best, along with Thunderball and Diamonds are Forever. The first couple of Roger Moore movies were alright; Live and Let Die, Octopussy, and then For Your Eyes Only. estory

Hi estory, thank you so much. You're right Dustin Hoffman in Rain Man was outstanding. I'm going to add him to my list. A very poignant film. Yeah, I like the old bond films as well with Sean Connery. All best. Ulla:))

Thank you for adding another chapter. I agree with all your actors. If you're not into Robin Williams funny movies try The World According to Garp or the Fisher King. Meg Ryan was great in Courage Under Fire. I would hope your ages haven't ended. If you think of any more please add them.

Hi Earl, I've always loved Robin Williams and it was a sad day when he took his own life. I never saw The World According to Garp because I had read John Irving's book and I didn't think a film could justify it. I did see the Fisher King. Thanks so much. I think it's great what your doing and I hope ther will be more lists.. All best. Ulla:))
Comment from Sasha
This was a fun read and you listed some of my favorites too. I may try this and see if I can figure out how to add a chapter to book... I'm a slow learner.

Thanks a lot, Sasha., I'm glad you liked it. It's easy to add a chapter. If you open up my chapter, go to the end and you'll see 'Add Chapter' Click on that and you're up and running. All best. Ulla:)))

I've seen Earl's Lists since he started them and I can't figure out how you do them. Maybe in your review reply if you have time you can let me know how you did this - I'm still Fan Story challenged at times. LOL - You have some great Actors and Actresses, probably the best list so far that I've seen - And I adore the movies that you used as examples. I love that I get to know even more about people this way too - it is really cool. Thanks for sharing yours. Cheers, Fonda

Hi Fonda, thank you so much, and I'm thrilled you like my list. Tt is a great way to get to know a little more about us all. It's dead easy to add to the book. If you open up my chapter you've just reviewed then go to the end and you'll see the box saying 'add chapter' Click on that and you're up and running. I'm looking forward to read your list. Kind regards. Ulla:)))
