Thank you Y.M.
It did get one vote more than Oliver Twist ️che surprisingly got none.
Nice to see someone appreciates this novel .
I voted for Jungle Book which I thought had a thought provoking theme.
I wish you too a peaceful week ahead!

I like the poem, and would like to read the book although I somewhat forgot about it. To me, it feels like there's a disconnect between the last line and the other two; it feels as if you switch from one topic to another, which makes it feel as if the last line doesn't fit.

In part I agree with you.. I got that feeling reading the poem too.
Dulcinea is Don Quixote's secret love .. She is in reality his servant but in his imaginary world as a knight she is his Lady.
She is an important character but I should have just focused on him and mention his faithful esquire.
Thanks for the 5 star vote !

Hello there, this is an awesome character 7-9-7 contest entry. This is exciting and full of adventure in such few words. Nicely done! Good luck! ~Kerry

I would like to thank you for the great review, meeshu.
Sadly though , I am forced to modify my entry ..I didn't read well the requirements ..it must be written from the character's point of view and not from a third person. [sigh].
I did what I could to adjust it , hopeful it still makes a good read.
Hope you are enjoying your Sunday.

I think the rhythm of the poem is a bit off. I also think that there might be issues from the prompt for the contest, as far as I understand it, as it doesn't seem like this work is written from Quixote's point of view. He is one of the most formidable characters literature and this seems a bit vague on who he was.

As far as I know rhyme and rhythm in this 7-9-7 was optional . On the second point you are right ..it should be from the character's point of view ..I didn't read the requirements correctly ..the poem needs to be in first person..thankyou for pointing this important criterion out to me..I will see if I can adjust my work.
Ciao e grazie di cuore !
