Thank you for writing this very beautiful prayer, Harry! And I join you in this prayer. I know God is there and here. I think He wants all people to pray like this instead of trying to wield political power to do what they think is right.

Good use of dialog in a poem and good showing of details about prayer. I sympathize with the ending sentiments. I like how it progresses from the desire to the concrete experience what you're praying for. Nice spiritual poem, enjoyed reading it.

This really comes across as a heart felt prayer for peace, in very personal language and strung with emotion. I think you did a great job of bringing that out in the poem, in a very conversational style, something very approachable. We also get the feeling that our deliverance is beyond our control, we need God to step in and right the ship. Its a poem of faith, a poem of love for our country, a poem of reaching across the aisle, something more of us should do estory
