An interesting read.
You and my oldest son recommended 'Upside'
Musicals I enjoyed: The Producers, Nathan Lane, Oklahoma, Gordon McCrea and Shirly Jones, Westside Story, Rita Morino, Music Man, Robert Preston and Shirly Jones, How to Suceed in Business, Robert Morse, Yankee Doodle Dandy, James Cagney and Joan Leslie, My Fair Lady, Eliza Doolittle's father, Damn Yankees, the lady who played the devil, South Pacific, Mary Martin, Guys and Dolls, the leading lady, Anything Goes, An American in Paris, Gene Kelly.
I also enjoy Westside music by itself.
I try to avoid films with foul language.

very good, MM. we liked several of the same ones.
I don't like movies with foul language either or anyone who uses it.
thanks for reading it!
PS

I enjoyed reading your lists. I enjoy many of the actors and actresses you mentioned. I agree that actors spoil it when they go all political. I like the stars from the old days of black and white films. I also love musicals and wish they'd return. I didn't watch "Paint Your Wagon." "Music Man"--one of my favorites. Very interesting. judi

thanks, Judi. Am smiling - I think some are thinking, boy she's old - mentioning Gregory Peck, etc :)

You're very welcome. Who could forget his performance in "To Kill a Mockingbird"? judi

This is a very good list, although more rock and roll, I love "Paint your Wagon."
not too much more in common but there is a lot of talent on your list, thanks, Katharine...................meeshu

Katherine I like how you took explaining further than I did. I like s the Rifleman too, but am more partial to Dan'l Boone.
I like JENNIFER Anniston but I didn't feel her Acting level was as good as the ones I t listed. I like the musicals and scary movies would make good lists. Not a scary movie fan but I've seen one or two. I appreciate your participation and please add more if you want. Nice job.

thanks, Earl. It was fun. I'm not a scary movie fan either, but was curious one night when Netflix showed scenes with Sandra Bullock and I just stuck with it. Probably should've put a picture from Upside, since that was truly wonderful.
Hope you put it on your list. :)

So glad you like musicals, Katharine. I was hoping to learn more about your birds when I saw the title "Bird Box." Won't watch scary movies but would probably enjoy the musicals. Keep singing!

ah - my birds - gold finches are eating me out of house and home!!! I fill the tall plastic feeder EVERYDAY!!! of course they waste a lot - ground is covered with Niger. am going to have to limit them. :)
Also have cute tit mice and chickadees - love them - and cardinals and ten thousand sparrows!
PS - you'd love Upside - hope you see it.
