perhaps the only entry in this contest not complaining about the weather! I don't think I'd swap Spain for the UK either.
I've docked you one star for poor Limerick construction - I know the conditions said not to worry too much, but they did indicate that lines 3&4 needed to be shorter and in the traditional Limerick and in the sample poems shown they are considerably shorter. In fact, your short lines aren't bad - it's the other three lines that could do with lengthening.

I gave you your third vote.
We had a second house in Spain for 16 years ( Tossa De Mar) .We sold it when my mamma died suddenly in 2006 .
The climate was decidedly hotter in Summer and milder in Winter than in North Italy ( close to the Apls) where we have cold snowy winters.
