I like the word, I won't ever tell anyone that their touch is Coriaceous but I've thought it for sure! Also, I have had heals that had to get their Coriaceous area eliminated from a pedicure. It is a good obscure word. Good luck in the contest. Cheers, Fonda

I am learning new words with this contest. I like what you've chosen and in the few words allowed, you've managed to write something that creates a feeling as well. Your title is unique. I really like this and wish you the best in the contest.

excellent new word to add to my vocabulary!

like:
first line imagery
spelling help with word in your notes
rugged ... touch

sometimes I object to any italic font, but I'm OK with this one for this short verse

colors of background and text match up with the leathery touch
