A good descriptive write of continuous war and it's effect on both men and women.
Our healed hurts become open sores
And welcoming homes close their doors
I think those two lines, for me, sum it up nicely.

I enjoyed your poem.

America is a warring nation and it holds its integrity by holding on to an ideology that idolatrizes war. This is true no matter what party on is in.

It is refreshing to read something that criticizes that ideology.
