A very well-written flash fiction story about how the little helpful child Timmy uses his mother's toothbrush to clean the potty and tells her about it just when she finished brushing her teeth.

Nice punch line. I liked how you built it up, set the stage, and then when it was in motion, you sprung the joke. Well I guess anyone with kids can relate to this, the moments of innocence when they need a lesson in moving on to the next level of living, through no fault of their own. The toothbrush seems like a good cleaning tool, I guess LOL estory

Hi there,

Thank you for sharing this little story - I think. I felt my stomach turn over a few times as I digested the last lines. Oh my goodness - why didn't the kid use his own toothbrush?

Well done and I wish you luck in the contest,

~Mustang Patty~

Mom's brush is bigger than a kid's brush. LOL Thank you, Mustang Patty, for taking the time to read and write a review for my story. I appreciate your kind comments and response.

This story did make me giggle. I liked the picture as well. The whole story was very comical and a lot of mother's will relate, I know I did lol. Good luck in the contest and thank you for sharing.

Well, one more reason to skip brushing your teeth.
Or, a really good reason to spit a lot.
Hard to imagine worse news. On the other hand, the toilet is clean.

Best of Luck.

Peace, Lee

Thanks for your great review and comments for my little story, hw. I'm thinking Timmy's Mom needs to jump in here and give him the right brush if he wants to be a helper. Thanks for the extra star, hw. You're the best!

If I were a bettin' man, and I'm not, I'd bet that "Mommy" will be purchasing some new toothbrushes in the very near future, heh-heh.
At least Timmy tried to help. That's more than you can get most kids to do these days.
Cute 100 word story.
Good luck to you in the contest.
~Dean

I think Mommy will also be putting her toothbrush where Timmy can't get his helpful little hands on it.
Thanks for your review and comments, Dean

This is so cute. The child wanting to help his mom is so sweet. Him using the toothbrush is funny. I'm sure his mom didn't think so. This is very well done. Good luck in the contest.

You did a good job with your story for the contest, Mystery Author. But eeew! Yuck! You told a good little story in 100 words as required. The picture is a nice pairing. Thanks for sharing and best wishes. Jan

Eee-YUCK>Timmy is one dumb bunny. (LOL) Although, to be fair, he does sound very young. I refer, of course, to your rather convincing dialogue, and "mostest".

Then again, maybe he's just angry with his mommy. :)) (kidding)

Good one. Best of luck.
