Thank you for bringing a memory into my heart. This is a very unique poem I hope your friend was happy when she read it. Even if a tear ran down her face I feel she adored this poem. Very nice. Thank you for sharing.

This is lovely Janet. It is sad when we lose our parents. I have been there. Bothe of mine. I was fortunate to have wonderful parents as well. Well done on the poem. A six for sure. Such emotion. xxx Nancy

I wish now that I had saved a six for you, Janet. This is such a lovely story. One can almost picture you or whoever this story belongs to, going through the letters in that box and shedding a tea with pent up joy for the good times. Bless you, my friend. Bob

The best gift someone can offer another, is the gift that God gave you, to read their lives and put it into verse Janet. Beautifully and sensitively written, the poem flows so well, and it stands in memorial to your friend's life and testimony of love. Written in pentametric quatrains in in abcb rhyming and great flow, well done, blessings, Roy
