I am touched, deeply, emotional moved. A sign of excellent poetry, I like poetry piercing a persons outer shell and penetrating emotions, connecting the poem to the reader. Magical. Well done. I'd like to thank you but I can't...well you may, and maybe a few others, know the reason, sorry. While not adapted, I've done the house thing. She was a hoarder but memories were found in the mess. I've kept a few.
(memories not mess :-).

I thought this was quite emotional and the images of the daughter going through her mother's things and finding all these little lost moments of life is strong. Particularly the poems, the letter about the financial troubles, the one about not being able to have a child and adopting one. It really captures much of the relationship in these significant moments. Then there is the thing about having to sell the house. That is hard in itself. I cried when we sold our house. Its like losing a member of your family, an old friend. estory

How blessed to find such a treasure. I'm sure reading the poems brought many tears, but she had to have been overjoyed at the find. The simple words tell the story; the simple abcb rhyme gives it form. Well done. Good job.
