A very well-written haiku about the beautiful flower dressed in shades of peach and purple. It is a unique colored flower that definitely cathes the eye.

How wonderful is our God? Man can't match the Master Painter. There is so much beauty growing in our gardens. Some appreciate, some just walk on by. I loved your contest entry for the haiku poetry. Wishing you well with your lovely entry.

You have made effective use of every syllable in this VERY lovely haiku.
The colorful, lively image is enhanced by personification and metaphor.
A breath of fresh air in winter

That stirs up a desire for Spring beauty... Elegant and rich in image and colour haiku. Splendid last line, and art work so appropriate.

Your satori is awesome!!! I love it! Good luck in your contest I think you did a fabulous job of writing a Haiku. The picture of the flower is beautiful and the colors are so vibrant and match so well with the description in your Haiku. Great job!

I relished your equating the flower's ruffles to a royal dress. Your bits of alliteration and the splendid artwork selection add to the intensity of the description. Best wishes in the contest- Joan

Wow, now I can review my go to style verse - either 5-7-5 or now your Haiku!
Wonderful imagery in both this verse and photo - so delicate!
You may not like that I criticize the use of this script font. It is not a quick read for anyone, especially those FS reviewers with any visual acuity issue.
I recognize that this specific Haiku really lends itself to this type of font. I accept your thinking process in doing so. My suggestion is to keep 'floral' as your only script word. Maybe change your script font to a standard italic font.

So glad you enjoyed my haiku on the iris, one of my favorite flowers! And I hear you about the font being a little difficult to read at times. Was thinking about the delicate topic. Will think about the suggestion to highlight floral with script. And thanks for the generous stars!
