The bible says He collects our tears. I wonder how huge a container it must be. But then He will wipe them all away. When we meet Him face to face, we will never have need to cry again. What a great day! Well done, Pat. Rox

What a lovely and spiritual poem. He knows our sorrows and temptations, our misdeeds and our kindness. I shall be so happy to see His face and tell Him how I love Him for all he has done for me!

Thank you for reminding us of the Lord's comfort and that He is the One Who paid for our sins and that made it possible for us to have that peace with God. Hope you are fully recovered from your cold, Patricia!

A lovely spiritual poem that tells about how Jesus loves us all, even through the tears, a comforting thought to those who suffer in any way. Nicely presented in abab rhymed quatrains closed with a rhymed couplet. Well said.

A warm and loving write Patricia, filled with hope that our tears will be dried by our faith. You have a floating (d) that needs removing. I enjoyed your words, love Dolly x

It's reassuring to know that Jesus is there to offer comfort in times of stress and remove our fears. As you state in your last stanza, we can thank him for His grace. Excellent work with your rhyme. Bleed is present tense, so you need bled. A very reassuring post. judi

Your concise, reverent spiritual poem is moving and accurately speaks of
how He loves us. Why the 4? (1) line 3 typo--"bleed" should be "bled" and
(2) "remove"--wrong verb form/tense (line 8).

A beautiful write here with a spiritual reassurance that all should look to when those tears do want to fall -- thank you so very much for sharing! :) :)

Thank you for sharing. Robert Frost once said "Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words." It would seem to me this continues to ring true. This is an interesting illustration you've chosen; I feel like I've seen it before. I think the fake tears take away from the serious nature of the poem and have a comical effect.
