Thank you Dolly. it was 40 deg c here today but there is a cool change coming overnight so hopefully it doesn't bring rain as it is an outside venue.

Oh my goodness! That is hot! Do you get mosquitoes? They are my worst nightmare. I had one in the house last night. My bedroom is downstairs and I had to turn all the lights off and creep downstairs and quickly closed the door to keep it out! He he he, love Dolly x

When we went to Indonesia last October on my surfing trip with my eldest son Aaron and a few friends three of us came home with dengue fever as a result of being bitten by a dengue borne mosquito. After 4 days back My son came down with a massive fever 42 deg temp, 32 heart rate , bleeding from the gums rash all over severe arthritis. He was in hospital for 6 days. The kid nearly died. If it wasn't for him being young and fit and they got onto it early when we got back it would have been fatal.
Back in Australia we have mozzies that have diseases such as Ross river fever so we need to protect ourselves.
Its now been 10 weeks and he is just coming good so he will not be able to go back to indo surfing its just not worth the risk.
fortunately, even though my blood test showed me positive for dengue in my body, I had no symptoms whatsoever but I too have to be very careful not to be bitten again by this type of mozzie.

I am really sorry to hear that Dip, what a terrible thing to happen! Oh my goodness. When I went to the Maldives I was bitten 100 times by the mosquitoes, and when I went to get medical help they were surprise I was still standing up! I must have the same constitution as you! Love Dolly x
