Puts me in the mood for baseball season, author. I have just about had enough of the winter doldrums and everything that goes with them. Good job, my friend. ??Bob

Thanks so much, Bob, for taking the time to read and write a review for my poem. This is quite a challenging form, so I'm pleased you enjoyed it. I appreciate your kind comments, and pitchers and catchers report to spring training in about a month!

What a fun poem that put me mentally in a warm ballpark in much nicer weather than January is pitching our way. Great subject matter and cute artwork. Good luck to you in the contest! :)

Hello Mystery Poet!
Love your Tyburn poem! These little buggers are challenging to compose! Well, at least they are for me! Yours flows so well, makes sense, and is a wonderful exampleof the form! Kudos!

Dear Anonymous Author,

Thank you for sharing your cute Tyburn poem with us. I wish you luck with this in the contest. Your tale of the pitcher resonates with those of us who watch the pitches in all kinds of baseball - middle school, high school, and college. (I have zero interest in pro baseball.)

Good luck to you in the contest,

~Mustang Patty~

I am not a baseball fan but I can sense the excitement of a crowd going "wild'. The verbs communicate unceasing activity and the wording goes along with the play

A favorite theme that rings true, I'm sure. Great choice of verbs that make sense in the last two lines. Fans can be obnoxious for sure. And people hate change.

A very well-written Tyburn poem about the crowd that goes wild when the rookie change his pitching style and makes a difference in the ending score, sometimes we need to take a dirrerent approach.
