This is a very interesting piece of writing, Ricky. It has a wonderful cadence and pace even in blocked and hard to follow form. I found excellent verse and verbiage as I made it through the write. I know you were looking for effect but you might break it up a little.................meeshu,

I didn't realize you had hurt your wrist and fingers, that makes sense as why it looks like this is one long sentence in one big paragraph. Good luck with your surgery, I hope it all goes well.
