I agree with your point of view and interpretation of the Constitution. The right to assembly ends when the law is about to be broken and/or actually is broken. If on the verge of being broken, that is, threatening mob violence, police have to be on hand to subdue those who may get out of hand.
Journalism (what a kind term they give themselves) is dead. What is put forth nowadays is opinionated spin. I like the old term of "reporter." Just report what is said/done by others.
I wonder if we can ever get back to following honorable guidelines.

Good work, mate and all so true. Inaccuracies of the media is not limited to the USA either. Well done, mate. Keep up the good work. Now I am off to try and get another trip chapter up.

Colton is absolutely right. The first amendment does not cover rioting and looting, nor does it cover slanting the news to fit any agenda. So many people don't respect or trust the news anymore. The journalists did it to themselves.

Very well said. Thank you for writing this. I hope this is read by many to educate and inform. Too many take the written word and news at face value and believe it for truth. Good job". TA ";-)

Thank you and I agree accountability is what news reporting is all about.

Well, I wholeheartedly agree with Colton on this one. Freedom of speech doesn't mean 'make it up and get pissed off when someone calls you out on it'. It doesn't equate to 'freedom from consequence'. Nicely done. Maybe to make this a bit more of a 'show', you could have the hosts go to the studio audience and debate the subject, or answer calls from the public? Just a thought.

Appreciate the suggestions. Always looking for more creative ways to write this show. Perhaps I'll incorporate some more of this into it and see what transpires.
