So simple, and yet so few will take the time, effort and concentration to achieve even a small portion of the benefits of the Self realization that comes with recognizing a Universal Force. And yet, we all have that inside, even in the voice we use to talk to ourselves. Is that really just our voice, or the voice o many? And then, who is speaking to us?
"I saw the light" is related to a religious phenomena, but the experience is universal. So many things are right there in front of our eyes but we are too busy directing our lives to see.
However, we have to keep trying, don't we?

Your comment reminds me of Proverbs chapter 3 verse 5 which says trust Lord thy God with all your heart and lean not unto thine own understanding. It does seem at times that we're too busy trying to keep everything in place in order and while we're not looking something behind us flies apart, then when we turn turn around to remedy that, two otber things happen Etc. At this point on learning a lot more patience and I'm also learning that when you get to the point where your content with everything it fuels you'll created Drive, much like Maslow's hierarchy of needs, which states that we have our basic needs- shelter, sleep, proper nutrition, exercise, and acknowledgment and interaction with our peers.
Once those are met, we're free to pursue higher levels of thinking, living and being. The Greeks are a great example.
The part I like the most about this when I was writing was saying that wind the realization comes it comes with the dynamic of having Improvement and momentum. I think Dynamic was a great word to describe this multiple effect. I'm going to start riding mower I'm going to start working more I'm going to start trying harder to achieve my goal until bad I am but a vessel searching for His purpose for my life

I was just telling someone I believe that prayer is about moving energies around. We do cause things to happen. Things would go smoothly if we did not interfere. It is our choices which interfere with the balance of the spiral as the Native Americans refer to it. You have expressed this well.

It's a good thing you're typing your comments, as being speechless you cannot say them nor can I hear them! Darren, that is the true me. I?ve grown too on FS. I?ve found so much approval to negate my relationship Hits on my self esteem. We?re all looking for acceptance, validation, and interest.
You are welcome. It can go no further than friendship on FS, but if it helps, great!

I in turn would like to validate you and you are Metamorphoses here. I just have been so busy caught up in my own world of struggle and addiction, that I have failed to return the key knowledgement and friendship that you have so freely given me. You have been a great inspiration here and your comments are clear concise helpful and a mirror image that we are struggling on the right path gaining Unity strength and fellowship.
Sincerely,
Brother Badger

I loved this poem, Darren, mainly because it is so clearly written and so positive in its message. I'm sure what you are telling us is true, and your life has been a perfect example of the validity of your claims. In your second stanza, I think you could make it perhaps a bit more clear by the addition of a couple of words and some punctuation. Example: "Start with gratitude, for sincere appreciation leads to contentment." Or, you could simply write, "Start with gratitude; sincere appreciation leads to contentment." Which is exactly what you said, but only punctuation is added. *smile* What do I know? You're doing great without my help. ;p
Thank you so much for sharing your life story with us. You are truly an inspiration.

I was pleasantly surprised to find you a review here. I appreciate the help of punctuation, as I hesitate to use anyone writing haikus however I can see where a little bit would make it sound a bit more clear. Thank you so much for this wonderful review you really made my day!

That was really interesting. I've heard of this but not gone into it fully. I'll have to read more about it. It sounds so simple to do, with amazing results. I think it will take a bit of work to achieve it though. Well done, this was a pleasure to read. :) Sandra xx
