This is a very beautiful sonnet that is uplifting and I wish all relationships between two loving people could be so. I think most us, no matter how old, hope for this kind of intense passion, at least sometime in their lives. I may try to write asonnet for this contest myself. But I can't imagine it would be as near as good as yours. Best wishes.

Hi Janet, this is a beautiful sonnet for the contest with the correct use of form and excellent use of meter with multi-syllabic words incorporated. I thought the subject matter of the poem was fitting for the form as well--eternal love and longing. Best to you in the contest.
