A very interesting observation here, Sir Bill -- really like the concept you've presented in this little rhyme...although, I must say, the word mythistorical is a new one on me. :) ;) Yvette :)

Hi Bill,
is is a bit of a tongue twister indeed.
The words are well chosen and blend into a clever poem.
Mythology and fantasy allow quite some artistic licence and you
have used these words well.

I love this word. The picture you chose certainly defines it. Arthur removing the sword from the stone. Great rhyming with difficult words. You should have saved this for a contest.

This is a very lively, appealing, thought-provoking poem about myth and history. Interestingly, history books say the legendary King Arthur probably was based on a real hero named Arthur--from, perhaps, the Anglo-Saxon period ??

Think the closest they can get is Uther. I?m guessing he was a Roman. He served as an historical base for whatever family was ruling.

If there is a meaning to the capitalization and bold font of "RE" on line four, you have lost me...perhaps you could add a note?
It takes courage to get phantasmagorical into a piece!

Yes, I will add a note. I highlighted the syllable because the word needs to be a trochee to work well there.
