With this piece, you have beautifully expressed a feeling that we all experience from time to time so it's very relatable and well written! I love the use of the adjective "shifting" to describe the winds because it's a great metaphor for how things in life can come at us from any direction and tear us down. I actually had to look up the word "buffet" because I am not familiar with it and it is the perfect word to use in this context. So thanks for teaching me a new word! I can only assume this poem is the result of your experiences described in your notes so I just want to remind you that teaching is an incredibly important job and you have a great influence on your students, whether you realize it or not. If they don't appreciate you now, I'm sure that they will in the future so keep doing a great job! And good luck with those parents...nobody likes dealing with people like that!

My sympathy quite definitely you belongs to you dear Yvette, my wife was a faculty head for most of her years as a teacher, so I quite understand, what it's like. It is full of "stuff". Incessant meetings, awkward so, and then the students....well done, very nice 5/7/5" blessings, Roy
