I have never tried a nonet before but feel inspired to give it a go now. It appears to be very tricky but when executed well, as yours certainly is, it both reads and looks so effective. I like your rhymes and how you turned something as seemingly mundane as the evaporation cycle into an exquisite poem. I also find such inspiration in the sky and the picture with the rainbow really finishes it off perfectly. I think you did a wonderful job for your first nonet x

I always enjoy the shape and sensibility of a good nonet. I enjoyed your addition of rhyme, which made the poem much more difficult to create but added to its intensity. The shape echoes falling rain as well. Best wishes in the contest- Joan

This nonet, Falling Rain, has the proper descending nine-to-one syllable frame and includes a proper rhyme scheme to complete the cycle of rain. Nice.
