Yes, and he's a great Hogwart's postal worker. He seemed pretty friendly, too. I'm sure he was very smart and kind. My kind of bird. And who doesn't like owls?

Hedwig is beautiful. Perfect picture for this poem. I like the alliterations in the first line. Yes. Hedwig helps the snowy owl to linger. What a postal carrier. The 5-7-5 is done well. It should do well in the contest.

It was sad when Hedwig was struck dead in the Harry Potter series. But, as you said, the beautiful snowy owl definitely brought our attention to the beauty of such creatures. For a 5-7-5, limited to animal topic, this was very good. Keep up the good writing!
