Some of your answers are GREAT--responsive, making effective use
of specifics. You said you prefer helpful to kind. So--why the 4? (1) Number 2
asks specific questions. Your answer is not specific, not naming an event--
saying there are too many to choose from. (2) Just MY OPINION, of course:
The repeating of "smile" is distracting and takes FROM the overall effect.
I think A is false.

Hey, Janice. I chose not to answer because I would be oversharing. hahaha I am still too embarrassed. The smile is just something I do. Sorry if it bothers you. And the lie is C. Thanks!

Robyn, after entering 3 contests and promoting my posts I'm out of dollars and I'm not buying any. Would love to do this otherwise.
I'll answer a few here, just for your eyes.
I'd like to see my granddaughter when she marries - if she does - and also be around for a great grandchild. Both would be grand events for me.
And as for doing something stupid that got me in hot water. In high school I was part of a group who, one day, decided to climb up the water tower. Not to be thought chicken and also get left behind I did it too. scary as hell coming back down over the side of that thing. To this day, I don't know how my father found out but he did - nobody else's parents did, so I was only one got punished. Can't imagine doing that today. In those days there was no fence around it.
anyway, have fun with your quiz. I've got to build up points and dinero!

Katharine -- no worries, sister. I've seen lots of folks posting their quizzes with no funds. Though it's not the BEST scenario, I can see doing it if it's all you got, right? I think people still want to see the quiz and the answers. People really do love these. (Happy to say!) YAY! Thanks for sharing what you di -- would you believe I tried to climb a water tower once and didn't count on the fence surrounding it. YUCK. Thanks so much. (I'll be looking for a real quiz post!)

This is a fun little aside from business as usual!

1. My wife is the same. She's enchanted and entranced by all things Titantic. She's seen the movies, read books, watched documentaries, etc.

2. Growing up? Well, let's just say yes and leave it at that. It's classified info!
3. I think the lie is about the phone company--cheerleaders and sorority girls do not muck around under houses.
4. I've been in television commercials for the car business, but that's about it.
5. Yes, if a karaoke contest counts.

hahahahaha! Thanks for reading and trying to figure out all my nonsense. *smile* But, nope! I really did install phones for two years. Had to go to pole-climbing school in North Carolina! Even have a diploma. heehee

The lie is about the pets. I've ONLY killed about 2 or 3. --sigh--

Have you created your own quiz for everyone to read yet and if not, why???? Thanks again!

Hey Robyn. I have really enjoyed reading these "Get to Know Me" quiz answers. We have our fascination with the Titanic in common. Since you're in Arkansas I bet you've gone to Branson to the Titanic museum? Just recently a Ghost Hunters show said that the spirits of Titanic children are haunting the ship in Branson. Thought that might intrigue you. :) I'm not sure on your lie... you did not major in HR/computers?

hahaha Thanks, Cindy. But I'm in Alabama. I have been to the Titanic Exhibition in both Memphis and London. They were amazing. And my lie was about the pets. *smile* Thanks for reading!

#1. I wouldn't want to be a passenger on the Titanic, either. I think I'd want to be a bird, so I could fly away to land, or maybe a fish in the ocean, where I could watch it sink. Either way, the Titanic wouldn't be my event. You are braver than I. #2. I'll bet one of the things you learned was to keep your mouth shut until you figured out the right thing to say. #3. I guess a. I don't see how anyone could complete both of these in two years. #4. I, too, am from a small town, and yes, it is easier. I think they want to let all of us know they are keeping an eye on us.
#5. It's not a crime to stay away from talent shows. I like this Chapter Six thing. I'll have to try it, too. Good job.

Hello Robyn!
What fun! And what interesting and humorous replies! Now, I am not certain if you have inadvertently killed a few pets or have held over twenty-four jobs or hold a degree in Human Resource Management, but I believe the fib is... Oh, man! I don't know! Twenty-four jobs are quite a few, and since I, too, have inadvertently murdered a few fish, I am going with the 24 jobs!
Smiles all around!

hahaha! Thank you so much for playing along with us, Diane. But the lie is the pets. I have only killed about 2 or 3 in actuality. *smile* I hope you'll decide to join us! Thankyou~!

I enjoyed all of your stories, Robyn. Thanks for starting this. It's been fun.
I am not good at guessing the lie. I am going to guess that you have not killed the family pets. Surely you have not killed 3 of them. If you did it once, you would not do it again.
You need to find a talent show to enter. That would be fun and something to write about.
Thanks again, Robyn. This was great.

Even the bugs went down with the ship, as the iceberg was too cold for them. You have so cleverly dodged the issue in Q2 so we still don't know what you did. I sincerely hop the lie concerns those pets you killed. I would think the other two are quite possible and 24 jobs in these days of the portfolio career is not excessive. Oh well some have the talents and some just leed the cheering. There is still time.

hahahahahaha! Thanks, dear one. And you guessed correctly. I have only killed a COUPLE of our pets (and maimed others, unfortunately.) They used to call my other car the 'death mobile'. Animals would literally RUN in front of it. It was AWFUL.

    --sigh--

Thanks for reading! Are you participating?

-A good image, Robyn.
-I enjoy reading responses
to your quizzes; one of
these days, I am going to do one!
-The Titanic is an interesting
event to choose, but so tragic.
-It's hard to say which one
is the lie, but I am going with b.
-Congratulations on your accomplishments;
I understand what you mean about small towns!

Hi,
Recently I was told that my reviewing basicly sucks. So this week,
this is my review. I'm taking a survey... Would you rather:
A: Have a true review
B: Have a certain 5-star generic review
Choose wisely and be sure of your choice so I can save myself the
needless time and tears over those who don't want to hear them.
I'll make a list.
And remember.... LEARNING IS EARNING
