A beautiful and well crafted 5-7-5 formatted poem about your loss. Very touching sentiment. A lovely composition. All the best in the contest. It should do well.

I can't imagine that it doesn't give 'cause to answer the phone... You know... on the other side of the digital connection something is wrong... So, with that prologue, I?ll start my story ? if you?re still with me.

Go for it!!!

I would like this better without the picture. That is mostly my response -- the picture, for me, dominates the poem, skews the meaning a particular way. Ah, but that's me. I like the poem and...and yes, he or she was your "partner in crime." Something angled more that way.
Best

May I tell you how sorry I am for the loss of your friend! This is a lovely tribute to them. Your presentation of this 5-7-5 for the contest is perfect and subtitle. Just right.

I'm so sorry for your loss. It's difficult to lose a friend.
As you say, even though it hurts, your friend lives on in your heart.
Thanks for sharing this tribute and good luck in the contest.

Great short poem! I like how it rhymes and how much impact you created with simple words. It clearly shows immense pain of your loss. One of my biggest fears...getting that call.
Best of luck!

HELLO ARTASYLUM: I like tour poem here in that it is brief, and to the point. In just three lines and fourteen words you bring your interesting story to the light. This poem is unique. Thank you for sharing this posting. God bless you and yours. Cordially: rhonnie69.

I see where you are going with this. The poem resembles a part of self healing. We all hurt somehow. This is why talking to people about their happy times and advice helps. Thanks for sharing!

Oh this is as heart breaking and it is full of love. I read it twice to understand your message. The art work speaks not of death and grief but life, new, glorious and in the Spirit's realm.
