This is a great one-line poem and good advice for anyone at any time. Like everyone, I've been guilty of wasting precious time on trivial matters, and it's good to be reminded not to take my life for granted.

That is such a good message. That is exactly how we have to live our lives and go to bed contented at night. Good luck with this positive "one-line" poem. Marilyn

Amen to that, Patricia! It seems that the older we get, the faster times flies by. We have to make every day and every minute count.
Best wishes for the contest. This is an excellent one line poem.
Hugs,
Connie

Sounds good but if I thought it were my last, I might do something wild like go parachuting or go to some far place in the world that I never saw. Lol. Well done one-liner, Patricia!

Isn't that the truth and it seems to go faster and faster each year. Your poem is very well-written, your great word choice allows you to get your point across nicely using very few words, great job as always.

A very well-written one-line poem about the time that flies past so quickly when we see another year begins. I agree we have to live each day as if it is our very last day.

Your one-liner poem is filled with a great life lesson. It's amazing to know that life lessons can come to us in such few words, but those few words have a major impact. Good luck in the contest.

Your one-line poem gives great advice. It sounds so simple that I think
sometimes people just overlook the wisdom conveyed in such a statement.
Anytime we're not making best use of our day, we're forgetting it could
be our last.
